5K participants will pick up their bib numbers and board shuttle buses at Evergreen High School (directions below). View Map.
Where can I park? There is parking available at the high school for the 5K.
First bus departure? 5k starts at 6:30AM
Last bus departure? 5k - 7:30AM
How do I catch the bus? Free bus transportation to the start line will be provided. The buses for the 5K will leave from Evergreen High School. You must display your race number to get on a bus. No one without an official number will be allowed on the buses. Upper Bear Creek Road will be closed to all traffic and there will be no parking available at the start locations. The buses will transport runners from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for the 5K events and until 8:00 a.m. for the 10K events. If you miss the bus, you miss the race!

Where can I park? 10K needs to park in the area around the 10K registration. NOTE: THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE XCEL ENERGY LOT. Parking is on the frontage road.

What happens if I miss the last bus? Can I still get to the start? No, if you miss the bus, you miss the race.
How do I get to the start on my own? It's a fairly long walk to the start, so we recommend not missing the busses.
Will there be a sweat truck? There will be a sweat truck at each starting line, which will depart 2 minutes before race start
Where is the sweat truck at the finish line? It is by the bathrooms nearest the actual finish line
Where do we get timing chips? Timing chips are on the bib--DO NOT BEND THE BIBS
Will there be a photographer? YES! SkiPix will be capturing all racers in action! Make sure to check our your photos following the race at www.SkiPix.com. Keep your bib visible on the front of your body for easy identification. SkiPix will have prints, digital images, mock magazine covers and more available online soon after race day. Can I bring my dog? Yes, but they need to play nice on the bus
Can I bring my jogging stroller? Yes, it will need to fit easily on the bus
Are you wheelchair friendly? The 5K is, please contact the race director before heading up
Where do I get my shirt? Shirts are handed out after the race. Follow the path into the Lake House from the finish line
Do I need money? We have t-shirts for donations at the end of the race AND there will be food trucks with coffee, snacks, & beverages, so you might plan to bring a few dollars.

Where's the High school? From Denver via I-70 west: Take exit 252 (Evergreen Parkway) to Colorado 74. Go east 7.8 miles to traffic light just past lake. Turn right on Hwy 73. ½ mile to traffic light at Buffalo Park Rd. Turn right and go 1.25 miles. From Denver via 285 south: Exit onto North Turkey Creek. Go 6.2 miles to T. Turn right onto Hwy 73. Go 3.3 miles to Buffalo Park Rd. Turn left and go 1.25 miles. From Conifer at 285: take Hwy 73 for 8.75 miles to Buffalo Park Rd. Turn left and go 1.25 miles.
How do I get back to the High School or Xcel after the race? 5K: It's a short walk on a path marked around the south side of the lake that takes you to the high school. 10K: Follow the path that starts north of the picnic area around the lake on the boardwalk, and follow it up the frontage road to Xcel.
I registered online but didn't get a confirmation? If your name is on the list, you're in luck; otherwise, you'll need to pay today, but contact the race director (contact info on website) to follow up after the race.
Can I register day of the race? Yes! at Xcel Energy (10k) or Evergreen High School (5k). There's no registration at the Lake House.
My friend isn't running and I'm taking their place. Can I have their number? Not on race day as we have no way of verifying the number change.
